Project overview

They asked for a logo. Discovery turned it into a business: who they serve, who they turn away, how they price. Then a name built from that strategy.

The ask

A wedding creative agency born from a gap in the Kurdish market: photography that is staged and formulaic. The founders wanted the opposite, cinematic storytelling of the day as it actually happens. Before a logo could hold that position, the business needed defining: audience, positioning, packages, pricing.

The name

The brief pointed to raw moments. The founders wanted something elegant with a Kurdish root. Ora, a moment, and Vin, love in Kurdish: Oravin, a moment of love. The only name I have built straight out of a brand strategy.

Ora plus Vin equals Oravin, moment of love

A couple laughing, hand in hand
Oravin colour palette: charcoal, olive, honey, amber, champagne
